Recommendation

Paul Jacobs was integral in transforming St. Paul Lutheran Child Development Center’s outdated playground into a natural scape outdoor classroom while he was teaching at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

His spirit and commitment to developmentally appropriate design and the process of childhood reflect his vision and value for nurturing children’s creativity and play in nature. His work to improve our Outdoor Classroom environment moved us into position to receive our NAEYC Accreditation.

It is with much admiration and respect for his knowledge of early childhood development and desire to offer every child an opportunity to reach their maximum potential, that I recommend Mr. Paul Jacobs, as not only a Certified Playground Safety Specialist but as a visionary for cultivating and styling playgrounds that can be achieved in collaboration with administrators, teachers, parents, community partners and ECE specialists to benefit children’s play.
